STATEMENT BY THE CHAIRPERSON AT UPLIFT MEDIA— PENNIPHER SIKAINDA NYIRENDA ON THE JUST ENDED HANDS-ON MENTORSHIP CLASS
Uplift Media is a mentorship project seeking to help young people find their way in the media jungle. As we were helped by those who came before us, our mission is to help others hence our mission #UpliftedtoUplift.
On Saturday 31st August 2019, Uplift Media held its second mentorship Class dubbed, Hands-On. About 80 mentees drawn from different Universities, Colleges and Secondary Schools were taken through a lesson on Public Speaking and practical production steps of various media formats & activities.
Our Guest Speaker Mrs Loyce Saili helped the mentees understand the link between the media and it’s partners.
We are thankful to all the young people who trust the vision of Uplift and shared their time with us. This is our little contribution towards helping you achieve your dreams.
