Children’s rights are a subset of human rights with particular attention to the rights to survival, development, and be protected. The Children’s Code Act No. 12 of 2020 encourages everyone to safeguard the best interests of children.
Today, the Visionary Students Initiative-VSI participated in an event on Children’s Rights that was organized by the Legacy Minded Men foundation in association with Sparkle and Rise charity organization. The event was attended by civic leaders, PAMA ambassador, and democracy/governance experts.
The educational breakout sessions informed children on their rights, mental health management, menstrual hygiene management and their role in promoting national values and ethics.
VSI remains committed to promoting and protecting children’s rights for a just and fair future for all.
