VSI PARTICIPATES IN THE AFRICA YOUTH DAY ROUND TABLE DISCUSSION TO CELEBRATE AFRICA YOUTH MONTHLUSAKA,

16 November 2020: The occasion graced different young people representing different organisation and institutions. The discussion equipped young people in Zambia and across the continent with knowledge on how to channel their skills, potentials and capacities to tackle challenges in their communities, countries and consequently, the African continent. The panelist comprised experts from the health sector, and technocrats in program management and international Trade protocols.

The key speakers were Regina ChampoEngaega -C4YDS, Dr Raj Chintaram -ECOSOCC, Darsheenee Draumnauth -COMESA and Mr Yahya kondeh-CDC. P.S: The African Union declared 1st November as African Youth Day, after the adoption of the African Youth Charter at the Banjul summit in 2006. This year the AU has marked November as the month to celebrate the Youth on the continent. This year’s youth month is themed Youth Voices, Actions, and Engagement: Building A Better Africa.
