The fight against period poverty is a continuous process. State actors and Non-state actors have a particular obligation or responsibility to respect, promote and realize human rights and to abstain from human rights violations.
Aside from menstrual health hygiene awareness and sanitary pads donation to Mambilima Primary and secondary special schools in Mwense district of Luapula province Children Development and Empowerment Foundation-CDEF team conducted a training on career guidance and development.
Present at the event were; The Ward Councillor, Clinicians, and nurses from Mambilima Hospital.
