The Visionary Students Initiative-VSI, Joyce and Friends Foundation attended the first national symposium for waste pickers and plastic pollution organized by the Citizen’s Environmental and Social Concern (CESCO).
The symposium informed the audience on various principles and practices surrounding environmental safeguards, among which include formalizing the informal waste pickers’ as the key to achieving a Green Economy.
VSI remains committed to contributing to the attainment of the 13th Sustainable Development Goal which aims at taking urgent action to tackle climate change and its impacts as called for in the Paris Agreement
