On July 17, the U.S. Embassy in Zambia, through the Public Affairs Small Grants Program, awarded $152,000 (K2.9 million) to nine Zambian community-based organizations to expand economic opportunity, improve health and education, and fight corruption in communities in six provinces.
Visionary Students Initiative will carry out advocacy programs in schools and communities to promote mental health wellness for young women while encouraging community service and volunteerism.
