WHO WE ARE

Established in 2018, Visionary Students Initiative (VSI) is a platform for students to actively participate in community service for sustainable economic and national growth. Our goal is to advocate for social change for the well-being of our communities and the people. Through our educational programmes, we conduct workshops in public and private learning institutions to disseminate information on cross-cutting issues affecting the local and international spaces. The idea is  to bring together people, organizations, and resources to create a driving force for YOUTH-LED CHANGE.

Charity and Recreational Sports Programmes

Charity Programme(Donations) 

We identify individual needs of the vulnerable children and families in the local communities. Once the needs are identified, our next step is to mobilize resources to facilitate access to basic needs. Learn More

Recreational Sports Programme

The primary purpose of the activity is participation, with the related goals of improved physical fitness, fun, and social involvement.

No Child Belongs to the Streets

In partnership with MCDSS, VSI is implementing a “No Child Belongs to the Streets” project whose aims is to completely remove children from the streets, facilitate for their reformation and reintegrate them into society at an appointed time. Learn More

We conduct special briefings on cross-cutting issues in public schools in conjunction with the Ministry of General Education.

Door-To-Door

We conduct awareness programmes such as voter education, keep Zambia clean, green and Health campaign, Mental Health, breaking the silence on sexual abuse  in conjunction with local authorities, civic leaders, traders and parents.

Online

We produce audio/video podcasts and infographics to disseminate information on pressing issues ranging from inequalities, social justice to public health emergencies using social media, radio and television.
