Incarcerated or not, the central role of women in society has ensured the stability, progress, and long-term development of nations. In recognition of this, we joined Women in Governance on a visit to Lusaka`s female inmates’ correctional facility to donate various necessities among which include sanitary pads.
Educational activities included:1. Awareness talks about the importance of women’s participation in leadership and governance. 2. Awareness talks on how best one is able to get access to legal services by Up Zambia.3. Awareness talks on sexual reproductive health and rights.
