Period Poverty has become a growing public health concern in many low-income and middle-income nations for its association with several health risks.
The fight against period poverty is everyone’s fight. Let us all commit to ending period poverty by taking action, and calling for more action and investment in menstrual health and hygiene by key stakeholders.
The Visionary Students Initiative-VSI, Children’s Development and Empowerment Foundation-CDEF, Reach One Child Foundation-R1CF, Nyali Zambia, and C.K Foundation are committed to providing mentorship on MHM and sanitary pads to girls in community schools, and care facilities among others.
