TAKING MENSTRUAL HYGIENE CONVERSATIONS TO THE STREETS

The children living and/ or working on the streets have limited access to vital information on Mental Health and Menstrual Hygiene.

The Visionary Students Initiative-VSI, Children’s Development and Empowerment Foundation-CDEF, Reach One Child Foundation-R1CF, and Natasha Initiative Foundation -NIF held an interactive session on Menstrual Hygiene with girls and boys living on the streets.

To reaffirm their commitment to ending period poverty, the organizations shared sanitary pads with the girls during the breakout sessions.

The organizations have further called on the government to expedite the implementation of Street Children-centered interventions aimed at bringing an end to streetism. #NO CHILD BELONGS TO THE STREETS
