The Member of Parliament for Kanyama Constituency Honourable Monty Chinkuli has welcomed the Visionary Students Initiative’s campaign against streetism to be carried out in his jurisdiction. The Lawmaker has pledged to offer maximum support to team VSI as they implement Phase Two of the campaign. This phase focuses on investigating factors that push children to the streets. This phase targets the Member of Parliament, Community Structures, Civic Leaders, and Families among other stakeholders.
The findings from Phase One and Phase Two will be incorporated in the National Street Children Strategy which is under development by the Ministry of Community Development and Social Services, Zambia
