Journey of a Thousand Miles

Lusaka, June 21 2020: Ever since we embarked on the Ivwananji Community School Project, we have receive a great deal of support (moral and financial) from our partnering Organizations, members and key stakeholders. As an organization (VSI), our primary objective is to contribute towards inclusive and safe learning at Ivwananji Community School. This is achieved through the continuous support we have been rendering to the school management since 2018. Part of that support is physical Infrastructure Development. This process was initiated sometime back in 2019 with a view to making the leaning environment cleaner, safer and condussive for the pupils and the community at large. Today, we managed to complete phase two of the project. 90% of the financial muscle for this phase was facilitated by Youth Bridge Foundation-Zambia Chapter. We managed to have the billboard secured and bought enough painting accessories among others. For many of you who have been with us on this project, you may agree that the project is far from completion. We have two more classrooms to build–one is already at window level and the other one is yet to start. To contribute towards this project, please get in touch with our Programmes and Projects Coordinators Mr. John W.
