As we come to the end of our campaign on menstrual hygiene management—specially commemorated on 28th May, we appreciate the power of connecting with people and sharing the little that we have with people around us.
Regardless of a few bottlenecks here and there during the period under review, we remained true to the cause, optimistic, determined, and focused.
This campaign would not have been possible without our members, partner, and well-wishers’ support and tender love.
Our main expectation among others is to see more action, and investment in menstrual hygiene. Government should consider extending the free-sanitary pads to girls and women who may not be in government schools. The government should scale up and incentivize efforts that are aimed at ending period poverty and making menstruation a fact of life by 2030.
