In a bid to instill National Values and Principles (NVPs) in the next generation of Zambian leaders, the OVP Department of National Guidance and Religious Affairs has partnered with the Visionary Students Initiative to launch awareness programs in learning institutions, faith-based organizations, and communities nationwide.
The inaugural session kicked-off with an engaging information session for the Students` School Council members, and prefects at Kaunda Square Secondary School in Lusaka. Following the presentation, learners demonstrated their grasp of NVPs through impressive group presentations.
This initiative aims to enhance learners’ knowledge, skills, and values, empowering them to uphold NVPs and contribute to a better Zambia. The successful session at Kaunda Square Secondary School paves the way for a broader rollout, fostering a culture of patriotism, integrity, and social responsibility among Zambian youth.
Special gratitude is extended to the school management team, led by the Head Teacher, for their support and hospitality, which enabled the successful execution of this inaugural session.
