The Visionary Students Initiative (VSI) was among the Youth-lead NGOs invited by The Levy Mwanawasa Medical University (LMMU) Mental Health Association to commemorate this year’s World Suicide Prevention Day themed, ” Creating hope through action”.
The event was graced by Hon. Given Lubinda, Hon. Miles Sampa , Mr. Mulenga Sata and President Highvie Hamududu who encouraged young people to treat mental health with high importance. The high table also shared their wisdom with the audience on how to detect and prevent suicide incidences.
Team VSI was represented by Ms. Chileya, Ms. Gloria and Mr. Jebbson, joined by our cooperating partners—Joyce and Friends Foundation.
